Short-cycle tertiary includes non-university certificates or diplomas from a community college, CEGEP, school of nursing and similar programs at this level; Includes also university certificates below bachelor’s level. Master’s or Doctoral levels include degrees or certificates above bachelor’s degree. The data are based on a 12-month average from January to December. |
Comments and limitations |
The target population is the non-institutionalised population 15 years of age and over. The survey is conducted nationwide, in both the provinces and the territories. Excluded from the survey’s coverage are: persons living on reserves and other Aboriginal settlements in the provinces; full-time members of the Canadian Armed Forces, the institutionalized population, and households in extremely remote areas with very low population density. |
