Calculations |
For reference years 2016-2020, the percentage of municipalities across Canada with sustained drinking water advisories is calculated as the number of municipal organisations who own potable water assets and issued at least one drinking water advisory, less those who issued no sustained drinking water advisories and those who issued an unknown number of drinking water advisories, as a proportion of the total amount of municipal owners of potable water assets. For reference years 2022 and beyond, the indicator data is obtained as a custom tabulation from Canada’s Core Public Infrastructure Survey. |
